Gibberings fae a Ness man in NZ

London

It was getting late by the time we got to our hotel. Aidan did a great job of maneuvering the Underground with our luggage. Too many steps around that place!

We decided to eat out that evening...Macdonald's! I now remember why I try and avoid that place. Utter hellery. We met Tania and Sophie at the hotel, Aidan and Sophie shared a room that night. (Picture: Aidan outside our hotel in Kensington)

The following day (Sunday 24th May) we set off for the Natural History Museum which is huuuuge. Aidan enjoyed wandering around looking at the displays they had (especially the dinosaurs).

The weather was so nice 25+ degrees C, we decided to grab some sandwiches and go and lounge about Kensington Gardens for lunch.
Aidan then decided that he needed the toilet (as he always does anytime we go somewhere new. Marking his territory or something.) We set off to find the toilets, only to find them locked. We then set off in the opposite direction to find the next lot but by the time we got to the Albert Memorial Aidan had decided he couldn't hold on any longer. He jumped over the fence and relieved himself in the bushes opposite the monument. (Picture: The Albert Memorial with the Royal Albert Hall in the background)

Tania went with Sophie to Kings Cross Station to say their goodbyes before meeting back up with Aidan and me at the hotel. Aidan found a green bug which kept him amused for a while, giving me peace and quiet to drink beer.

Aidan dressed in his best clothes and adopted his posh stature in the reception area of the hotel. As can be seen from the photo below....

Then it was off to Terminal 3 at Heathrow to get ready to catch the flight to Hong Kong...
