Monday 1st June - More fine weather, the tan is getting topped up nicely!
The morning started off with Aidan setting off up around the back of the house, only to discover that his new wellies were still tied together! He was stuck for a while due to the ensuing hilarity that followed.
Tania, Aidan, Wade and Dan set off to visit Tania's Nana only to be turned away when they got there due to an outbreak of a sickness bug.
While they were out I managed to catch me my first cockroach. I decided to keep it under a whisky tumbler until they got home. :)
A pretty lazy day today, I decided to go and meet some of the locals at the pub (Cruzaz Bar). Ended up playing pool and losing track of time. Just managed to make it home in time for tea. Roast Chicken with a nice bottle of red.
That night we were standing outside the garage when a possum appeared, sat on the driveway for a little bit staring at us, wondering what these odd Shetland critters were and then it toddled off down the drive as if it didn't have a care in the world. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera on me! :(
