Sunday 31st May - Aidan and myself took a stroll up to Cherrywood before deciding to walk towards town. We got some good views of Mount Maunganui on the way (Pictured).
Aidan had a slush ice-cream thing which turned his entire mouth, tongue and lips bright pink!
We ended up walking right into town (a GOOD distance), only to find out that no buses run on a Sunday! Ended up we had to get a taxi home again. The contract for the local buses is changing hands at the end of June and the new company are going to provide a Sunday service.
Back home, just in time for a beer or two.
Tania, Wade (her Uncle) and Dan (her Cousin) got back from Auckland at about 2300.

I can't believe you're having such gorgeous weather! When we were there in January (summer!!!), we had to climb Mount Maunganui in the fog and rain :p
