Day 9 - Tauranga

Wednesday the 3rd of June - Dropped Aidan off at school this morning under strict orders to behave himself. We then went into town to get some more bits and pieces. I went along Telecom to find out how my broadband order was coming along. Turns out it should be switched on, the girl had forgotten to phone me. After that I went up to Bond & Bond to see if my wireless router had arrived. It might have but they got a big shipment in today so it could be buried. I am going to pop back along tomorrow to see if they have found it.

Tania was suffering from toothache so I dropped her at the dentist to try and make an appointment. They told her to come back this afternoon. No 6 month waiting list here! Turned out that it is going to cost a fortune though so that is maybe why.

We went to pick Aidan up from school and the teacher came out to tell us that he has been a totally different boy today. Very well behaved. Hurray!

Got home and decided it was probably about time I dug out the patio chairs from under the house. We also phoned the woman that is responsible for the 'Walking Bus' to school. Turns out that they do it on Tuesdays and Thursdays so Aidan is going to meet them tomorrow morning.

Just plugged the freebie router (not wireless) in. I have a 14 Meg connection!!!!!!!!!!! Slightly better than the 2 Meg I had at Scatness!! :)
