Cheap Phone Calls

Just a little note in case anybody didn't know about MoneySavingExpert.com's brilliant International Call Checker. This allows you to search for the cheapest provider to call International Countries. You simply dial a number before the number you want to call and then it gets charged to your ordinary phone bill.

Cheapest to call NZ at the moment is:-

• Landline: 0.5p a minute compared to BT's 35.5p a minute - Dial 0844 200 9898

• Mobile: 7.0p a minute compared to BT's 60.5p a minute - Dial 0871 772 4040

Some great savings to be had if you are calling abroad regularly.

Another month on

Thought I had better post a little update. It has now been a month since I started more pro-actively advertising the house down this end. We put up a couple of posters which garnered interest from several interested parties. I also advertised the house on houseladder.co.uk's two week trial. This has resulted in two people from England requesting more information.

I am planning to get a few more posters up and add some more pictures to the website (including the floor plan which I have finally got around to doing). Possibly advertise it on a forum or two and put an advert in the local paper.
